She had fled the island, but Waxx, however, stood behind, along with the holodiscs. She asked the operatives to find Waxx and to return the holodisks, clearly stating that her priority was retrieving the holodiscs rather than rescuing Waxx. The operatives were initially reluctant to be involved, but then Voidhound convinced Meteor to help, mostly because Lamalla offered them to pay for their help. The operatives swam across the river and were attacked by separatists | Mantellian SeparatistsOrganizationPlanetary and Sector | patrolling the shore. They infliltrated the depot and while doing other assignments at the Separatist base, they found Waxx in the training rooms on the second floor. He was working on another holotape, and when the operatives asked him to return with them, he refused, stating that he was with the separatists, working with their propaganda officers and sincerely believed in the cause. When the operatives asked for the holodiscs to be handed over to them, he also refused, claiming that he had edited the holograms to show the plight of the separatists and their families. Realizing that he was serious and would not give them the materials until he was severely harmed or even killed, the operatives reluctantly left.Later, when they returned to Lamalla and told her the story, she was not at all surprised. She thanked the operatives for at least finding Wax and confirming that he was all right, and even gave Voidhound the promised credits. Rann predicted that Waxx would eventually realize how immoral the separatists were and return to his job. |
